Long Description

Believed to be a late 1800's to early 1900's (Italian?) Savonarola Dante Chair. Missing one piece of the face on lower right side when facing chair. Bottom was reinforced prior to my purchase.

These tend to date from the late 19th century through the early 20's. Most like this one were actually of American manufacture, and unlike the antique European originals did not fold. Values are currently modest even for examples in undamaged condition, under $100.00 at auction.
