Pair of German chairs with grimace, soldiers with feather caps

Long Description

The other chair matches but, unlike the one pictured, does not have a crack.

I believe these chairs are from the early 1600s. Besides the fact that my grandparents told me that (they brought to the U.S. from Germany, in the 1940s,) the uniforms of the soldiers conform with those used at that time by soldiers from Oldenberg and Hanover.

The backs of the chairs are  27.5”/ 70 cm high.

The seat height is 19"/ 48 cm.

I would be greatly appreciative to get some guidance as to their potential value, and the best way(s) to sell them.

I am located in Colorado, USA.

Gothis style Hall Chairs

Hard to tell if these are Gothic originals or late Victorian Gothic Revival reproductions, They were often made in pairs and used as hall chairs. Could you post some images of the underside of the seats/ Ineed to see some construction details.
