After the war, he started designing and selling furniture, but died in 1951, and the company closed shortly after his death, so this furniture was only sold for a few years and are extremely rare. Bissman furniture is known for its Danish Mid Century Modern design, sturdy construction and innovative features such as non-stick drawer glides, and solid walnut construction.
