Description
Lantern measures approximately 10 and 1/2 inches tall not counting handle. On the very top it says Adlake Reliable The Adams & Westlake Co. New York Chicago Phila. also on the edges of the top are the numbers 563 and a bunch of patent dates starting with Sept. 21 1897 and ending with April 13, 1913 also on top are the letters C.C & C.S.R.R. The globe is clear except for the letters D & RGRR Lantern appears to be in good condition but could use a good cleaning, however I will leave cleaning to the new owner.
Re: Adlake Reliable Railroad Lantern C.C & C.S.R.R
Values for these by collectors depends on the vintage of the lamp and the obscurity of the railroad that used them, but most comparable lamps at auction sell for less than $150.00.

In case you didn't already know, D&RGRR is Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. The frame might be marked for the Cripple Creek & Colo Springs RR
