I have searched the net for an image of something similar to try to get an idea of what it is and its age without any luck. It is very crudely made, the metal is extremely hard and gold in colour. It has not tarnished in the 35 years that I have had it. Other than the pattern on the ring, which consists of hearts covering the front, and hearts and clovers on the band, there are no other markings. The band is far from perfectly round and does not join to the metal at one side. I reside in Australia, and am not too sure how long the old lady who gave it to me was living here, nor her origin or how long she owned the ring prior to giving it to me. I can only assume that it is some sort of costume jewelry, for it to be so easily gifted to a child.

History
This was given to me as a reward, by an elderly lady 35 years ago. I kept it because it was my childhood "treasure" and have now become curious as to it's origins and value.
