Date Period patented 1885-1887; 1888-1890

History My mother recieved music box about 30 years ago from a dear friend. The friend, an older widow, was from Casper, WY. It had been given to her husband many years earlier - I believe in the form of payment for work done. She wanted to show appreciation for all my mom had done for her over the years, and she knew my mom appreciated antiques. Mom played it regularly when she cleaned house.
