Japanese Vase

Description

Found this vase in an attic 56 years ago.  It belonged to my great aunt who was in her 90s at that time.  It stands approximately 18 1/2" tall.  Top broken on one side and repainted.

Vases like this tend to be 20th Century items made for the export market. While not mass produced in the modern sense of the term they were made in huge numbers and similar items remain in production to this day. As this vase is broken it's value now is purely decorative.
