Hand-painted antique clay bowl

Description

This piece was my Mothers before she passed away. A friend had given it to her and said it was very old and possibly from Peru. I do not know much about it's history. I believe its made of some sort of clay and it is hand painted. There is two birds painted on the inside with long bodies and claws. The colors are black, red, and a light purple color. There is a crack on the side of the bowl but it is still  firmly intact and a chip on the base of the bowl. I would like to know how much it is so I can sell it because it has just been sitting in a box for several years.
