Silver Jug

Description

On the underside of the jug has the following markings/figures:

(scratched on)  au 312 (plus another mark which cannot see too well

(stamped)  1131

Has 6 silver "stamps" .  Above these is what looks like an upsidedown V

Also has engraved initals on front of jug just under the lip.

The stamps are not Sterling silver hallmarks, they are called "pseudo" hallmarks because they are meant to resemble genuine hallmarks. The piece is actaully silver plated. Here's a link to this topic:
