Description

This is an oil painting of Botanischer Garten, in Dresden Germany. It is dated 1900. The paiinting is signed, although I cannot make out the name in order to identify the artist. Any ideas on this is welcome. This painiting is very heavy and the frame appears to be ornately carved. As far as i know, it is the origninal frame, from the 1900's.

History inherited from my father in law, in Greenville, SC. No idea how he obtained it, but do know that the old Botanischer Garten was destroyed during the war. It has been rebuilt. This painting could depict the Garten before the destruction.
