Description
This is a strange little thing I've been trying to find more about.
It appears to be a decanter of some kind, made out of stone/clay/ceramic wrapped in leather.
There are no identifying marks to it.
The top to the decanter looks broken. the leather is split along the seams, and I can pop out the stone the leather is wrapped around fairly easily.
I've found plenty of leather wrapped decanters, most if not all from Italy but none in this style.
Any information about its origins or worth would be greatly appreciated.
