There are symbols carved on the bottom of both the kings and queens. They are too light to show up in a picture. I attempted to trace them here:

Thanks for tracing the signature.

I couldn't recognise what characters are they.

How about taking a photo of the bottom of dark coloured king and queen?

I'd like to see some cross hatching of the ivory.
