Lucky Dollar

Description

I got this about 23 years ago after my grandmother died.  It was in a large coin collection that was going to be sold.  I'm sorry I don't have better pictures.  Just in case I'll tell you about it.  It has "Lucky Dollar" on one side with a clover, horseshoe, and a star.  The other side has a dollar sign on it with a clover, star, horseshoe, and whishbone, the background on both sides has very heavy pitting and it has some marks on the top from what looks like it was poured into a mold.  It is really bright silver in color, very heavy for it's size, and I tried to sratch it with a sharp knife and could not make any marks on it.  Non-magnetic.  It is very old but there is no oxidization, could be platinum but could also easily be some sort of non-precious metal.  The embossing is very deep on the letters.  It is about 2 inches accross.  I don't know how old it really is because I never met my grandfather but from the pitting on from when it was made all signs point to it being very old.  I got it in Montana.
