Antique Cherrywood Dresser

By mrmakdeck, 15 April, 2012
Description

This antique dresser was given to me as a moving in present by my mom. She doesn't know anything about it and the little research that I have done on it has only told me what to look for in determining that it is a genuine antique. It is made of a dark wood, I believe cherrywood, though I could be wrong. The knobs are wooden as well and the keyholes on the front of each drawer seemed functional at some point. The drawers are dovetailed and rough where they go into each slot and the rough backside has waving in the wood.

Do not know where it is from. Has waving on back piece that you can feel in the unfinished wood. Dovetailing on drawers looks rough.
