Primitive oak dining table with slide out extensions

Description

the table was so dirty when I bought it, I could barely see the pattern on the table top. The auctioneer said it was in a container of furniture from New England. However, I found France stamped on the frame. the wood dowels appear individually made. The table appears to me as a handmade table. I use this table in my kitchen as our main dining table. Any insite would be great. any idea of date or value is greatly appreciated.
