Asian Box ( Buddhist?)

Description

Lacquer box with long lid on the top, 2 small doors, 2 drawers. I have the missing hardware from the front, it is in the shape of a turtle. It looks like there are swastikas incorporated into the hardware. The tag on the bottom is as follows:

Lawrence's Stores LTD

West Surrey Depositories

M. Campbell

N. g.51

Camberly & Yorktown, Surrey

Does anyone know what this is or where it came from?
