 This display cabinet was probably used in store as a counter-top case for medicine. It can hold  4 to 8 bottles and has an opening on the back . The front has a rounded glass.

Dr. McLean came from Nova Scotia and had  The Dr. J. H. McLean Medicine Company, St.Louis, Mo.
