I was given this bear in my great grandmother's will and was told it was hers when she was a child. I am very curous as to the origin of this bear (i.e. what brand, year, value, etc.). I've done a bit of reseaarch online and have found nothing that looks like my bear; though I did find that the older bears with all moving limbs including the head, as mine does, are much more rare. Whether the bear is of value or not, I'd really just like to learn more about where my great grandmother got it etc. I am also not sure if the scarf came with the bear or she knitted it (he also use to have a matching cap)? Also eyes and nose seem to be made of plastic, and I have no clue what the fur is made from. The bear itself is in excellent condition; no wear on the fur anywhere or chipped/broken/torn pieces. I'd appreciate any input or leads to find the history of my bear.
