dont know alot except before boaty mansion aquired it they bought it through either antique auction or store just not sure if original or replica was given to me and i was told take very very good care either way worth alot for my childrens education in future

It's not a period piece, desks in this form were never made during the 18th Century. It's a 20th Century piece using design motifs of Queen Anne and Chippendale style furniture. It's a very nice piece though with hand cut dovetails, we'd probably retail it for over $1000.00.
