Birds Eye Maple Wash Stand? Value?

By missrush, 26 June, 2012
Description

Bought at an auction. It matched a bed that sold seperately and I purchased this piece. They called it a dresser, but I believe it is a washstand.  It is solid wood and seems to be vintage or antique and not a reproduction, but I hope someone can tell me for sure.  The drawers are solid wood also, not press board, corneres are dovetailed and seems glued. hardware seems original.  It has a small top drawer with door that opens to storage area and a large drawer that goes across the whole front.

This is a beautifully finished piece.
