Description

Brass bell has over all height of 10.5 inches.

Bell itself width is 5 inches and 4 inches tall.

Then just barely less less than 1.5 inch from top of bell is a brass collar that meets the wood.

The rest of the height is the bare wooden handle. The chain and ball is held together with melted metal inside the top of the bell.

The bell is inscribed with JB and a line with 39 directly underneath. This is on the top shoulder of the brass.

History Found it in an antique shop. It reminded me of my very earliest school days.

Former owner had no knowledge of it's markings or past.
