Purchased 15 years ago at an estate sale at a colonial home in North Carolina. Unsure of actual age. Leaf shows patent date of 1929. Table top detaches from the base.
It has 4 chairs which have been reupholstered and show no markings or dates. Cannot find any other markings besides the patent for the leaf slide.
Would appreciate any other information about this table and possible price range. It is not in top condition.

Do you recognize this piece? Collectors often identify maker marks, share comparable sales, or suggest additional research steps.
Your set is in the Colonial revival style which was popular from the 1920's through WW2, the patent date indicates your set could date anywhere from 1929 to about the mid 1940's. Values vary by wood type, the oak versions being the most popular, most setas like this sell for under $500.00 at auction if in good condition.
