I just bought this yesterday for $40 from an local community facebook trading page here in Oregon. I had intended to paint it until I took the drawers out and saw the dovetail construction and the Abernathy Furniture Co. label under the drawer. The label is stamped in the shape of a log in blue ink, Abernathy Furniture Co. is on the end of the log in red ink. There is a place for the cabinet maker #401, and inspector, McCarly. Any idea of time frame, and what this piece may be worth? Is it a china cabinet?
