i believe that the chair is from the 1890's.normal we and tear from daily salon usage.has a velvet like fabric uphoulstry not sure that it is the origional.not tears or cracks.all metal and wood is in good condition no dents or chips, dings, cracks.hydraulics in proper working condition.comes with origional childs seat and removeable headrest. both in great condition.reclining mechanism hansle reclines 180 degrees with gas piston assembly.seat brackets footrest and base inticately carves with scroll design as is all wood pieces also.
