Description

bl Marble chair 123 1/2 was part of a design line known as "Correct Posture Chair".  It was touted in the catalogues "Less fatigue - Fewer errors - Better work." It could be ordered in Walnut, Imitation Walnut, Imitation Magogany (stained), Marblecote (painted) and in quarter oak. The line was manufactuted from 1946 until it was discontinued in 1955.  A 1946 catalogue says "when foam rubber is available again" indicating that it was restricted during the war years.  If yours has foam rubber it would have been manufactured later in the production period.
