The company started operation in c.1864 as George Jones and in 1873 became George Jones& Sons Ltd. which operated in the Trent Potteries in Stoke-upon-Trent ,renamed "Crescent Potteries" in 1907, but those reg #'s  date from 1884-1887. "Crescent China" appears on some marks from 1893. Yours is most surely from before 1891 because that is when "England" had to appear on items. :) Not sure about value. Will be less than $100.00.
