Small gold tone box

Description

I received this rectangular box from my grandmother when I was a kid to put my treasures in. It's missing it's lid, but there is a lip along the back top where the hinge would be. It's made of gold metal, possibly brass, with an ornate pattern covering the entire box, even on the feet and bottom. The inside is lined with a red velvet. I've looked in antique stores and on Ebay for years to find another like it with no luck, and no one (not even the antique sellers) have ever seen any box like it. I'd like to know it's value and where I can find another one, hopefully with the lid intact.
