History My mother's grandmother gave it to her when she was a little girl. My mother is 77. It wasn't used much because her grandmother did not sew. I have researched it on the internet and found similar items but not everything that comes with this nor the manufacturer. It is manufactured by N. R. Ramsey. The address is 119 Michigan Avenue, Detroit Michigan. The original cost is $3.00. Other than the directions on how to use it, I can find no other date on it.
