Sculpture of Don Cesar signed by artist Poitevin

Description

This was my grandfathers piece, so I know it's old...from researching I am guessing early 1900's. It was painted cream color (probably by my dad) so I stripped off the paint and this
great piece was preserved underneath. I believe it is spelter(white metal) and it appears some bronze. . The artist was Phillipe Poitevin a French artist know for his sculptures who died in 1907. .
