This vintage chest was made by Drexel Heritage out of Morganton, North Carolina in the mid-20th century. It is very old and there are some wear and tear pealing of color. Featuring classically styled French Provincial design, this lovely chest has a cream and gold finish contrasted with a rich walnut wood top. Made by Drexel, you can be certain it is a high quality piece. A few indicators are its English style dovetail solid wood drawer construction, a solid wood top, and hand-carved detailing.

Re: drexel french provincial dresser
If it's marked Drexel Heritage it dates from the 1970's when both companies merged. The style is over the top and is a bit of a tough sell in todays market . We seel Drexel French Provincial dressers like this sell at auction for under $200.00.
