Item may be a 4 legged Vase. Legs have hoofed with very ornamental attachment to a bulbuos bowl. There are two ornate handles. The item stands around 71/2" high by 71/2" wide at handles. The bowl is 6" deep and from 2" wide at it narrowist point to 4" at its widest point.
It is identified on the bottom by a engraved circular stamp stating "Wilcox SilverPlate Co." with crossed hammers in the middle. Around that is the word QUADRUPLEPLATE then MERIEN, CONN. Finally, the number "136" is stamped underneath this circular array. Note that the stampling looks as if it needed to be done twice because there is imperfections in the stamping.
Photos are attached. Item has not been cleaned.
