Photo frame - estimated 1920s?

Description

We purchased this frame at an estate sale for the grandson of a prominent lawyer in Seattle (the lawyer practiced in the '20s).

We purchased it for $30 because the people running the sale said it was really valuable.

It holds a 4x6 photo (cut down a little) and is really pretty with some carved wood, possibly, and possibly gilt and painted flowers.

It held a WWI photo of a Canadian soldier but we opened the frame to take it out. It didn't appear to have been opened prior to that.
