I have a very used chair that is signed  and all the N's are printed backwards. Its black with designs printed on it.

Your chair is a 20th century reproduction, the backward N's were never used on the chairs marked : "L. Hitchcock. Hitchcocksville Conn. Warranted".  Most of the reproductions at auction sell for under $35.00.
