Occupied Japan is a specific period 1946-1952.  So you know exaclty when your set was made. It was most likely service for 8 or  12 orginally.  If you chose to keep it, you can try to find peices through ebay or other online auctions.  There is also a site called Replacenents, LTD.  that can give you an idea of the pieces avaialble in your pattern, but they are pricey to buy from.  If you chose to sell your set, it is often better to break the set up and  sell it as replacement pieces on ebay or other sites, as most people have little interest in as incomplete set.
