Description

Vanity that my grandmother had.  Not sure when she bought, or if she inherited from a family member.  Dimensions:  65in tall 47in wide 18.5 in deep.

Mirror is detachable (comes out with screws.  Have been told it is oak.

you ahve a very lovely vanity...I would need some close-ups of the drawer construction to determne the age, however it appears to be in excellent condition and vanities have always sold well.   Some conidtion issues to look for; any repairs of any kind,  original finish or refinshed, oriignal glass or excessive spotting from the foil deteriorating from the back. of the glass ...If the peice is all original and in excellent condition, it would sell between $200=500 depending on the market.

It does not look like oak, it appears to be maple with mahogany veneers. Vanities likes this date from the 1930's and were mass produced items, they look older than they are because they are a mix of Victorian substyles such as Rococo and Renaissance Revival .Most today even in very good condition often sell at auction for less tahn $150.00.
