antique hard wood arm chair w/ carved lions heads on back rest

Appraisal complete
Description

I found this chair in a friends attic. It had been covered over in fabric and had been used in a childs room at one time then tossed up in the attic. It appears to be of hard  wood possible oak and has an embosed leather/horse hair stuffed  seat which at some point in time had a poor repair (leather patch tacked on to the original) done. It seems to have a striped fabric underneath (i assume its not original to the chair) holding the horse hair in. The seat itself is square in shape, wooden with a round hole where the padding(horse hair) is. I have not tried to remove either the top leather or bottom fabric to see what the whether its made that way or someone tried to pad the seat in a poor fashion. Any help would be greatly apreciated. I can get other info ie:dimensions, pictures or anything that might help in identifying the chair.
