Dillingham cedar chest

Description

I received a dillingham cedar chest for Christmas and was looking for more information on the item. I also wanted to see if I was able to get a new lock because this one does not have the key.

The serial number is 28568 or 28548. I believe it is a 6 & not a 4.

Dillingham was located in Sheboygan Wisconsin, I don't have much information about the company other than that.  I'd suggest doing a search to see if Sheboygan has a historical society, if it does they would likely have full records about this company. As far as the chest iteslf goes , it appears to date from the second quarter of the 20th century. Most chests like this one often sell for less than $200.00.
