Description

I have an umarked small plate which has been hand painted with three storks or cranes with their beaks pointing inwards to the centre, they are on a gold lustre backgound. The plate is quite rustic looking but has a feel of something quite old, a lot of the gold lustre has worn off unfortunately.

On the underside there is a tiny set of initials which I presume could be the initials of the person who decorated the plate or maybe a makers name, the initials are painted on in gold but are just to small for me to make out.

I believe the plate is a type of stoneware as opposed to china or porcelain which are much finer than this.
