Who made this vase?

Description

I have a hand painted vase and have unbale to identify the maker.  The vase stands approx. 12" tall and is approx. 5" diameter at the widest point.  There is considerable gold detailing and all the decorations are hand painted.  The mark is impressed and reminds me of a Griffin, Smith & Hill mark, but to my knowledge their marks never had a hexagon like this one.  The vase is in very good condition, there are 2 flea bites and overall crazing.  I am guessing this is a mid-to late 19th century piece, but again I am not certain.  A full apprasial would be great, but what I am most interested in is discovering who made this vase!  Can you help me?  Thanks!
