Medium Delft plate that's been handed down to me.. It has a very special place on my wall, but I would like to know an approximate value so I can include it in my insurance.

Your plate was made by what's now called "Royal Delft", the marking on yours "B.V" is a date code for 1952 if I recall correctly. agreat many of these came across the atlantic with Dutch immigrants after WW2 and troops returning from occupation tours in Germany during the late 40's to early 50's. Most Royal Delft wall plates of this vintage sell at auction for less than $150.00.
