History We did some research and found that there was a man named Paul Titcomb who worked for the company that became Towle Silver. He was from MA. The cup reads From: Alabama Titcomb To Alabama Clanton Janurary 15 1840. We dont know who Clanton is but there was a Confederate General by the name of Clanton who lived during this time. The cup came from my Great Great Aunt who actually lived in Clanton, Alabama.
