Waples Platter Company of Texas glass bottle

Appraisal complete
Description

It is a glass bottle 11 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide.  The sides are rippled vertically and right underneath the mouth of the bottle (the cap is 1 1/2 inches wide) are two tiny "handle" looking things that are one inch long each.  The label is torn so I can't make out what the bottle contained.  I only see the letters CO and maybe an H or an N.  The patent numbers are DES PAT 87834 and 87987.  Underneath the patent numbers is a kind of eye shape with the letter I in it and on either side of the eye are the numbers 2 and 3.  Is there anything you can tell me about this bottle?  I've looked all over the Internet and can't find any information on it.  Thank you.
