Probably a common story on here, got these from our grandmother's house since she's in a home now and we have controll over the estate. We don't know too much about the origin of any of it, no real identifying marks or anything to indicate who it was made by on any of it. It's all at least a hundred years old though that much i know.
Big mirror- Original finish, some nicks and dings in the wood but not bad at all given it's age. Mirror needs to be resurfaced, has little black specs all over. Definitely a hardwood, mahogany I beleive. Hand carved.
Chest of droors- Good condition overall almost no dings or scrapes in the wood. Has a small key that works on the top and bottom droors, but the lock is missing from the middle one. Definitely a hardwood, based on the smell i think it's cedar.
small mirror- Great condition, same specs as the larger mirror though. Not sure if it goes with the chest of droors or not.
As I'm sure you can tell I don't really know a whole lot about these pieces or their history but hey, that's why
I'm here. If more pictures or better quality pictures( im limited to 2mb per picture here, had to scale them down) would help identify by all means just ask and I'd be happy to take more from different angles etc. I'm just looking for a general idea of what these are worth, if i should get the mirrors redone before selling or not, where I'd get the most for them etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
