Old clay tile with a carved scene on it of a man feeding a child.... Possibly Mexican? Catholic?

Description

I really don't know much about this item as I was drawn to it by its unique look and old charm. It is an old clay tile set in a cast iron holder. The scene on the tile appears to be a man feeding a child in a sumbraro... I'm guessing its a Mexican scene? Sorry, I don't know much about it. Any history on it would be greatly appreciated. The tile has  an uneven back to it like it was made completely by hand and not in a mold.
