I have this Japanese geisha doll that I purchased a few months ago don't know to much about it the lady that sold it to me said her father bought it for her mother when he stationed in Japan her father since passed away at the age of 80 the doll came in a glass display case the daughter said she believes its over 50 years old can you help in giving me more info on this on age ,name of doll and value.

Nice doll you got, it is not made of Plastic but a kind of plaster, that is made from croshed shells
Under no circumstances should you try to wash the dolls head or arms and legs if they get a bit dirty , that wil disolve the fine material and make uggly holes.
