Description

  Hello: I am writing to request an appraisal of some plates described as follows:  The manufacturer's mark:  Villeroy & Boch Moriz Mettlach.Size: 7 and 7/8 inches in diameter or approx. 20 cm Quantity:  10Condition:  ExcellentPredominant colors:  Turquoise, orange, pink.Minor colors:  Yellow, green, brown, navy, etched in mustard or flat gold paint.  Additional description:   Floral According to Worthpoint.com, these plates were manufactured between 1894 and 1909.    Although the plates are almost 7 inches in diamter, I call them "cake" plates because the indented center is approximately 5-3/8 inches in diameter, just the right size for a slice of cake. I sincerely appreciate the free appraisal and look forward to hearing from you.
