Hello
A friend left this children's rocking chair with me 12 years ago, she moved out of town.
It was in her family, may have belonged to one of her grandparents, not sure.
It may have been locally made ( I think she was from the Detroit area) and the only marking on it is stamped:
No 148
WAL.
The stamp is large and even looks like white paint.
It is underneath the seat; (0n the bottom)
The seat is in bad shape, torn fabric.
The wood is not particularly thick, so I don't know if it has any value.
I have no idea how old it is.....
WAL.
seems like it is stamped in white paint, on the underside of the seat.
