Flow Blue w/ Gold Corn Shape Cup demitasse and Corn leaf saucer

Description

This is a little flow blue little tea cup or demitasse cup in the shape of an ear of corn and the saucer is in the shape if an ear or corn.  Kernels of corn, the handle and the inside rim on the cup are gold gilded.  The leaves on the saucer are also accented gold.  There is a blue marking stamp on base of cup but it is smudged.  Looks a bit like a volleyball net shape for lack of a better description. There are brownish numbers or letters 157 or 1ST ? brushed on over the blue mark.  The saucer is incised with the number 6173.  I believe there is another incised stamp that looks a bit like an elephant but not sure about that either.

Hello, it's only been 10 years since you posted your cup and saucer.... but I have a set like this with a slight difference in design (ie, my gold corn goes straight down the cup while yours kind of twists). My pieces are only marked with the incised number.

Did you ever find out who makes it? If so, I'd love to know.

Thanks!
Kate
