Description

I purchased this, also on Portobello Road, in London about 16 years back. The piece is a very delicately made framed tapestry depicting a musician playing his instrument to woo two sitting ladies in the era of the 1800's. The frame does not appear to be antique, but the tapestry does. I haven't ever seen a tapestry so delicately woven.

Category Fine Art
Medium Frame is wood and velvet. Artwork is made of thread as it is a framed tapestry.
