Distinguishing marks Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi Chinese inscription. First I thought it was Japanese kanji. Realized it was Chinese. Translated in English"made during the reign of Chenghua great ming dynasty'. I have 3 bowls for comparison of the kanji scripts for easy identification .

History Here are some of my personal collection formerly owned by Nakanishi's clan .
>Nakanishi Seiniro,Matsushima Kuniko and Nakanishi Genshi.
Descendants of Blessed Leo Nakanashi.
A relative of the Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Proof of consanguinity is the 3 small trays tarnished silver alloy.
Used during the funeral service of Ieyasu.
Inscription of posthumous honor 'Toshogu'.
The ming dynasty years is the same time period of Blessed Leo Nakanishi's existence in Japan.
Research and translations at the Japanese library of the Japanese Embassy Philippines.
